Job Purpose

To provide service to the customers in a timely manner by obtaining, analysing and verifying the accuracy of order and supply information. Initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.

Policies Processes and Procedures

  • Implements approved Department policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.    
  • Adherence to the department policies, processes and procedures. 

Day-to-day operations

  • Follows the day-to-day operations assigned for the Market Planning & Sales department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.    
  • Smooth flow of day-to-day operations. 

Job Specific

  • Working with the Marketing team to develop the annual sales plan of the department with the best possible basis, present them and seek required approvals. 
  • Gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandizing techniques.
  • Working with marketing teams includes providing customer    feedback regarding product capabilities and suggesting markets to improve visibility of the products and services
  • Prepare the rolling plan for supply with coordination with logistic team to ensure the safe and timely maintained delivery.
  • Update and revise the sales plan in accordance with different factors such as plant operation change, Market dynamics and Customer requirements and forecast. 
  • To target meeting all the department KPI’s and exceed the expectation (if possible). 
  • Ensure the sales of largest possible volume with target prices or better in accordance to the market conditions.
  • Reporting the daily, monthly and yearly sales to the team and the division management on frequent basis.
  • Resolve any constraints with customers to receive the material by working with all concerned parties internally and externally.
  • Initiate required actions and responses to customer complaints for order changes, etc.
  • Develop new markets/customers for all the products.
  • Work with R&D team to develop new applications for the products or develop new product which may result in better profit to the company.
  • Working with product-development teams involves providing customer feedback to improve products and assisting in the design of products to meet customers' needs.
  • Ensure payment receipt on time and resolve with customer any outstanding payment issue. 
  • Prepares customer service summary reports.  
  • Develop and recommend changes to existing methods and systems to increase the accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness to the customer.
  • Work with the Sales Representative to ensure the proper documentation and understand the process and the reason/concept behind each step.

  • Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports for Department in order to meet Department requirements, policies and standards.    
  • Key information captured accurately and presented to decision-makers in a timely manner.


  • Ensures compliance to all relevant health, safety, security, and environmental procedures across the Company in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment
  • Participates adheres across company to HSSE Code of Conduct and actively participates in promoting the use of risk assessments.
  • Participates in safety, health and environmental programs.
  • Participates in incident investigation and provide technical expertise as required, understanding of system causes and development of recommendations to avoid recurrence.

Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering. 


4 - 6 years of experience.
