Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Maintain and update Risk Assessment and Opportunity Function and ensure regulatory requirements (HCIS SAF Directives) are complied.
• Lead in the performance of site-related risk assessments.
• Develop action plan to meet annual and long term risk assessment objectives.
• Process Administrator function and responsibilities for assigned FIMS system(s) and ensure implementation of system requirements.
• Enhance stakeholder awareness on the risk assessment requirements and their responsibilities, including reporting of deficiencies.
• Demonstrate effective influence to increase strong process safety culture within the organization.
• Implements approved Department policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner    

• Development / Management of Risk Assessment and Opportunity Function
• Documentation of Risk Assessments and Survey
• Documentation of Risk Reduction Recommendations
• Adherence to the department policies, processes and procedures 

• Conduct process hazard analysis (PHA) relevant to risks identified on day-to-day operations.
• Follows the day-to-day operations assigned for the Process Safety to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.    

• Risk findings and recommendations.
• Smooth flow of day-to-day operations 

• Monitor implementation of company approved and scheduled risk assessments and surveys.
• Participate in design change review by management of change committee for changes in process designs.
• Demonstrate experience in assessing hazard consequences using techniques such as consequence modelling and fire scenario assessment, flare calculation, fire and explosion analysis, etc.
• Demonstrate understanding and experience of incident investigation and implementation of lessons learned and root cause analysis.
• Demonstrate understanding and experience in defining emergency actions for hazards identified including integration of escape and evacuation risk analysis and procedures.
• Demonstrate understanding and experience of process safety management including process safety KPIs, monitoring process safety performance and organizational factors, etc.
• Review Process Hazard Analysis and revalidations for site and business enterprise.
• Provide project input concerning process safety requirements from generally accepted engineering standards such as NFPA, ASME, API etc. reducing the business need to hire third parties. 
• Facilitate Site Operations and Technical Managers to provide Process Safety support and align Site procedures/ processes 
• Identifies, scopes and implements Process Safety support of site operations 
• Works with teams of Production / Process engineers, maintenance, R&D and operations to plan, lead in the development and implementation of process safety improvements. 
• Skillful application of standard work processes (functional excellence), including engineering design standards, engineering operating procedures, inherent safety, HAZOP etc. 
• Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to chemical, physical and biological hazards
• Ensures the personnel action in accordance with the OH&SM System requisites of the company such as Benzene exposure, Radiation source monitoring etc.
• Develop strategies for defining and implementing Safety Programs in Operations, which include hazardous material generation and disposal monitoring and follow-ups.

HSSE

• Ensures compliance to all relevant health, safety, security, and environmental procedures across the Company in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
• Recommends Health monitoring programs and evaluates as its effectiveness. 
• Review employee safety programs and work permit system to determine their adequacy.
• Interpret safety regulations according to RC regulations and implement prevention methods for Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental protection.
• Develops operational procedures for a defined area so that security activities are aligned to the achievement of the overall objectives of the Company Security
