Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Implements approved Department policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner   

• Adherence to the department policies, processes and procedures 

• Analyses performance of static Maintenance activities and provides recommendations. Coordinates with vendors performed maintenance contracts and makes reports.    

• Smooth flow of day-to-day Rotary equipment Maintenance activities. 

• Assists with maintenance activities of static equipment in the plant 
• Establishes procedures and instructions required for maintenance of static equipment according to engineering principles and safety regulations. 
• Contribute to the development of Predictive and Preventive Maintenance plans and procedures for all static equipment, and provide technical expertise for static equipment maintenance activities, standards and procedures.
• Witness / Tests newly installed Static equipment to ensure to fulfil requirement of supplied equipment specifications.
• Provides on-job training to maintenance technicians to develop their skills to perform their duties in most safe and economical manner. 
• Reviews with vendor for required spares & services to ensure the equipment maintenance is not delayed because of lack of spare parts. 
• Participates in the decisions of replacing static equipment by giving technical evaluations. 
• Records and analyzes causes of equipment failure and recommends long-term remedy solutions.
• Lead the Investigation team and conduct root cause analysis for major static equipment failures and troubleshoot various types of static equipment problems. 
• Review parts selection for obsolete or out-of-production parts. 
• Develop the required technical studies, reports and reviews of all types of static equipment.
• Develop and perform performance tests on all different types of static equipment, such as compressors and pumps etc.
• Plan strategies to maintain static equipment and avoid obsolescence.
• Contributes in design packages for any upgrade changes in the plant static equipment 
• Develop and review Operating Instruction Manuals for new static equipment or systems.
• Mentor and transfer technical knowledge and skills to entry level engineers.
• Ensure keeping, maintaining and updating a database of all historical data pertaining to static equipment failures and assist in analyzing failure data and preparing test reports.

• Preparation of accurate technical evaluation reports for the Department in order to meet Department requirements, policies and standards.    

• Key information captured accurately and presented to decision-makers in a timely manner

• Ensures compliance to all relevant health, safety, security, and environmental procedures across the Company in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment
• Participates adheres across company to HSSE Code of Conduct and actively participates in promoting the use of risk assessments
• Participates in safety, health and environmental programs
• Participates in incident investigation and provide technical expertise as required, understanding of system causes and development of recommendations to avoid recurrence.
